Engineer focused on reliable, real-world systems
I design, prototype and validate control systems that have to work first time – from industrial cooling plant to manoeuvrable RC aircraft and digital twin test rigs.
With a background in Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering, I bring together sensors, actuators, embedded controllers and industrial hardware to create practical solutions. I enjoy taking systems from a whiteboard concept to a validated prototype that operators can trust.
Recent work includes developing digital twins and hardware-in-the-loop test rigs for industrial cooling systems at Airedale by Modine, and building a multi-axis RC flight controller for a manoeuvrable aircraft platform that can be used for future avionics experiments.
I’m particularly interested in: industrial automation, controls, model-based development, digital twins, test systems and embedded mechatronic products.
Education & Technical Training
A combination of mechatronics, mechanical design and hands-on tooling experience, alongside industrial placements in automation and HVAC.
MSc Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering
University of Huddersfield, UK
Focused on control systems, embedded systems and automation. Final year project: development of a manoeuvrable RC aircraft platform with custom flight controller, sensor fusion and stabilisation.
Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical
Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering, India
Core mechanical engineering with emphasis on design, dynamics and manufacturing. Built a foundation in system modelling, thermodynamics and structural analysis.
Diploma in Tool & Die Making
Indo German Tool Room (IGTR), India
Intensive training in precision machining, CAD/CAM and tooling. Developed a practical understanding of tolerancing, jigs, fixtures and shop-floor realities that now informs my automation work.
Systems I’ve Designed & Built
A snapshot of recent projects that combine hardware, software and controls – all grounded in testable, maintainable engineering.
RC Flight Controller Prototype
Designed and built a bespoke flight-control system for a manoeuvrable RC aircraft. The rig integrates a FlySky receiver, ESP-based microcontroller, MEMS sensors and multiple servo channels to control roll, pitch and yaw surfaces.
Implemented stabilisation logic, differential servo mixing and sensor-based safety limits. The platform acts as a test bed for future autonomous features and control law experiments.
Digital Twin & Control Cabinet
At Airedale by Modine, contributed to the design and wiring of a full-scale control cabinet used as a digital twin and hardware-in-the-loop platform for chiller and HVAC systems.
Supported PLC integration, safety-rated components and signal routing so that control strategies could be validated against real hardware before deployment on production equipment.
Industrial Automation in Context
Experience working inside a live industrial environment, supporting cooling and thermal management systems that serve data centres and mission-critical facilities.
This context shapes how I approach engineering – thinking not only about the control loop, but also about maintainability, safety, and how technicians interact with the system in the field.
